the puzzle pieces.

my eyes are all groggy from office work. today i clocked 9 hours in front of the laptop, and i was actually starting to get counter-productive when figures started flying around. i'm glad for an understanding supervisor.

anyway the sheer number of expenses i deal with causes me to think. whenever i see dates like 26/10, 6/11 or 23/10 i get all sorts of funny thoughts.

like when person A is flying off to the US, i am currently shooting my SAR21.

when person B is taking a cab from the airport, i'm currently getting my wisdom tooth extracted, ouch.

and when person C was having a late dinner at 10pm, i was playing LAN in one of my last days in camp. (oh wait, did i just say something?)

maybe when person D was working in office up till an unearthly hour, i would be reprimanding myself as i lie down in bed in camp a little too late.

when person E meets his clients on the 6th of november, i would be happily collecting my pink ic.

ahh its amazing what you can learn just by looking through expenses.

and its amazing how everything fits together like puzzle pieces. sometimes my mind wanders as i think about what someone is doing and what i'm doing at the same time.

okay that was rather amélie.

and of course, being an NSF for so long, most of the time while person X is doing this and that, i'll be in camp doing something else. also makes me feel like i've wasted my time.

but on the bright side, i really appreciate my life now.

i think i've mentioned that a million times.

and i will mention it the 1000001st time that life is great when you're ORD LOH!
