it's a nice feeling to take the mrt in the morning along with thousands of other commuters.

see, on any normal occasion (friday evenings at choa chu kang mrt) i'd be pissed and feeling claustrophobic around these idiots.. but working downtown now is different where i get to feel the "morning rush hour" as a civilian, getting squeezed by train doors in office attire without a book-out bag.

went to have lunch with tobbie today. as a tanjong pagar lao jiao he's got some really useful experience on where to find good food there. i am very excited and pleased at having a lunch partner and as i type i can already taste tomorrow's excellent fare. yummm!

so random? it's so true. can't wait to get back to work tomorrow. my mum comments "i've never seen anyone so happy to go to work before" but i suppose she's never had such a close encounter with an ORD personnel before.
