lull period.

wisdom tooth extraction is now an old thing to me. as a full lao jiao in tooth extraction (yesterday was no.7 and no.8 respectively), i can safely say i've improved in my pain-handling techniques.

slept away some of the pain once i got home yesterday, though that didn't stop some writhing in pain on the sofa. didn't even have the mood for lunch until the late afternoon. i was too tired to do anything productive.

today was slightly better - so i decided to pack my room. and as i packed my room the usual nonsense of being unable to throw away sentimental old stuff happens again. you won't believe what shit i have in my room, ranging from james miao's excuse letter to beat this: BARNEY'S SEC 4 TESTIMONIAL.

now i don't think this is a matter of sentimentalism, because i doubt i have the right to throw it away. that comes along in a collection which includes: sec 4 maths pop quizzes (zeroes and full marks alike), sec 2 lab worksheets, higher chinese essays, etc.

a treasure trove of worksheets and files: no wonder my mum keeps complaining my drawers are too full. but i heed king jing's advice "steel the heart" and "just throw".

if you don't throw, you "later regret".
if you throw, you will "later forget".

truly inspiring words by king jing - so threw away i did. though some of them are still priceless memories so i stuffed them all back into one file and grudgingly put it in the bottom drawer. i like going through my stuff when i have the time but unfortunately with my room looking like a sty and when my parents are going to come back like soon.. time isn't my luxury.

10 more days to ORD.. and i need to get a fahrrad. soon.
