the blockbuster dream.

i had a really epic dream last night, i think it qualifies as a blockbuster.

admittedly another day at base camp has dulled my memory and made me forget bits of it, but i shall try to put as much down as i can remember. i won't talk about how i idled about today because hahaha idle is idle. and i got my collared signals shirt thanks to mq. it's lovely and i am very proud of my vocation. lol.

so anyway i was dreaming. i mean i didn't know i was, but that's besides the point. somehow my time in sungei gedong reading dean koontz has got to me and i forgot where it all started (like dean koontz's stories), and it involved tanks on civilian roads. like wth.

it's seldom i remember dreams so vividly, but this one i do.

i don't know why i was running away from somebody. i think i was supposed to be a spy, as i've always wanted to be since young. however the shit hit the fan and i was running away in my long four. in the dark night, as in most movies. see what army does to me.

so i had two friends along with me, one of them was paul (zeng). the other guy was some random dude that could not have been more random. i really can't remember. we were on this spying mission and we were down some lane that resembles jalan girang in serangoon.

there was a tank and a motorcycle after us. the tank had two people, seetoh and another guy i couldn't remember. stuart was on the bike. and i really don't know how the hell i got this combination of people. was trying to hide behind a gate but i got spotted.

the tank came dangerously close and so did the bike. however i believe it wasn't their intention to kill me because they were driving slowly and they all went away. that is weird. we strolled up the lane into some semi-detached with a pool. there was a party going on. we walked up and henryk appears, gripping my arm and saying i have nowhere to go.

this is where it gets wild and messy. i haven't seen the dude for a hell long time (since AHM last year?!) and he appears. right. i manage to brush him off, something i doubt i could do in real life, and i move on. now we're not wearing long four, thankfully. only paul is left with me.

i meet ______. for an unknown reason i tell her i am very scared and i look around. i stretch out my hand to take hers in an alarmed manner. she holds the tips of my fingers and lets go. paul admonishes me not to say such things subsequently when we walk away, and this time it's across the overhead bridge towards my house.

now it really gets creepy. i reach home all exhausted and shagged. my family's up waiting for me; the lights are all on and i remember the time being 6:20am. paul leaves. i shower and i go back to my room all dazed and feeling épuisé.

the moment my head touches my pillow i begin to feel drowsy, my vision blurs and my mother says "wake up, it's seven o'clock!"

and well, i had never felt so shagged in my life when i attempted to get out of bed. i was groggily asking "why did you do that for? i barely went to sleep."

she replied, "don't you need to book in?"

OKAY........

by the way if it wasn't obvious enough i had already woken up and i was just well, WTF. i never remembered feeling SO DAMN shag when i woke up from a dream. and i never had such an experience where dreamland crossed into reality.

however, upon realisation that it was a dream, i found it rather amusing. then my energy level became normal and to put it militarily, i "carried on". but i am amused to the extent that i have blogged it down for memory's sake.

in my spare time now, i do like to go through a bit of my archives. it's somehow therapeutic going through 2008 again when i had so much kibger to ORD, and here i am today slowly approaching the brink.

and i like blockbuster dreams, no matter how ridiculous they seem. the edge of fantasy in my life makes me a happier person somehow. and of course, stagmont camp.

tomorrow's the last day, i'm off to treasure it. TABLE SOCCER HOO.

ORD LOH

117 more days.
