plucked from thin air.
this post will be made up of entirely random facts. i'm not going to ask for pardon because there's nothing wrong with talking absolute nonsense.
now this is a very dumb thing that happened to me back in camp. i went to play pokémon gold, and if you have the slightest trace of a childhood you'd understand why i did that. it's totally amazing, lovely and wonderful. the gameplay was as beautifully planned as before, and i loved bashing through ilex forest to reach the glorious lights of goldenrod.
if you didn't get what i meant in the last paragraph GET A LIFE. (i know some others would direct that back at me, but shit once you start you never stop - i'm addicted for life.) so anyway of course to play pokémon you need an emulator. did that. then i downloaded the rom as well.
next thing i found out account kena frozen WHAT THE HECK. i was sorely disappointed as i not only had captured a few lovely pokémon but i had already finished off sudowoodo and was reaching ecruteak. not a bad feat considering it was hardly an hour or so. you know how's it like playing the game on the computer - superspeed is always possible.
now i wish i had just deleted it or something. shit la i'm like a mankey frozen by an articuno. or actually not mankey, judging by my hobbies perhaps i could be a wartortle instead.
still, now i'm back home with all the pokémon roms hohoho. last week was a great week because we had like 5 bookouts in 7 days. in fact thinking about it on average we book out like once every 1.2 days or so? counting from two sundays ago, which was the 8th. the weeks don't come in weeks any longer.
the deltards are obviously very insanely jealous of us. apparently some of them went to mock and talk cawk to us while we were marching. i say don't be stupid it's not that we want to book out, it's that our wing knows what's called care for soldiers. some say it's overrated, and maybe i'm being a bitch here, but no one complains about too much welfare.
unless you're a psychopath or a deltard. then go do some reflection or you can carry on with your miserable life. naturally i understand their frustration and of course not every delta warrior is like the deltard that spoke to us, but hey life's never fair.
i figured i'm feeling slightly better now as service term peters out. with only three full days left at safti, i'm starting to feel the pangs of apprehension and trepidation all over again. at least we have one last swimming session next monday woots.
before i disclose more of the programme, let's move on to my stop-the-vulgarity programme. for some reason i spammed many hokkien vulgs yesterday but the f-words are going very well. used only three from monday up till today. that's very remarkable even if i say so myself.
what was more remarkable was that some of my platoon mates commented that i was more like a spec because of the way i pronounced the hokkien vulgs with precision. i like to enunciate (?) and bring out every diphthong (?), vowel and consonant of the phrase. if the enciks could do it with much pride, passion and prestige (eat that, WOCC) - i suppose i could too.
though today i'm trying to stop that as well. my f-words have been reduced to tame words like "shit!" or "stupid" or "crap la" and i'm still trying to convert CCB and PLP to KNN and TMD. luckkk i need luckkk.
besides these random utterances i am expressing annoyance that my ipod is weird. from half bar it suddenly went to NO BAR and now i have to charge it in double quick time before i go off for GASP social ******* night. seven letters are very suggestive btw, they can stand for many things but i'll leave that to the imagination.
now with three days off it's kinda hard to decide what to do. so many people to meet, errands to run, people to treat, efforts to run. not so much of the last factor but i just needed some rhyme scheme. hmm it's really hard to decide what to do with your life.
and also i think i want to reconsider the courses i'm doing in NUS. just that since i'm still so early into the service and so long to tertiary education i think i'll just put it off until i actually begin matriculation. hope it wouldn't be too late by then. with one year ++ to find out more about my courses and options i suppose it wouldn't be. self-consolation hahaha.
the cm2006 game is damn hard to play btw. wth every new version that comes out there's greater complication. i just want to goddamn play cm2 (1997) even if michael owen was just 18 years old. at least the gameplay is simple and i don't have to think so hard just to filter players to buy. MAN is it that hard to keep things simple!
answer: yes. that's why we have social night and shit like that.
oh and knn i still worry about whether i've actually completed service term because something is moving under the water and i don't quite like it. better pray i go past that hurdle and pray for a nice little vocation.
did anyone realise "vocation" is only a letter away from "vacation"?
also note that there's an "a" in signals - slackmont is where i belong.
speed through skill ftw!~
