downhill ride.

i can't believe my world has collapsed on me again.

1. it's been bloody crappy in school - and if not for my classmates it'd be worse so wth seriously.

2. it's been bloody crappy at home - because of events happening in school or more precisely, because of common tests but there are other factors so wth even more seriously.

3. it's been bloody crappy even in my dreams - refer to reasons 1 and 2 so it's like wth the most seriously.

in running and cycling, the most enjoyable part is the downhill. so i should be enjoying myself with this riding down right? haha well so i am.

NOT.

still, i'm not here to make y'all read shit. let's talk about the happier things. which arguably isn't a lot but not a lot is better than none at all. so hey at least i've something happy to blog about.

school nats was on tuesday and wednesday. needless to say i didn't qualify for anything but i came really close okay. 12th for 100 fly which was rather expected, and at least i got 4th in heat. then got 9th for 200 fly, missing out on the 8th just by a split second decision.

but before you go and check schoolsports.sg and assume that i'm fking lying because my timing was 21 seconds off the 8th placed guy, you'd have to read the explanation. if anyone in the top 8 had jumped into the pool a split second earlier, he would have false started and got dq-ed! which would mean i would have qualified for the finals.

thus, my argument that it was a split second decision holds water.

though hell, that didn't happen so i am 9th. but still happy because i think i swam well under the circumstances. i'm not going to list them lest anyone thinks i'm making excuses. in fact i was lucky to be 9th but shh no one needs to know that.

anyway that pretty much concluded my adventures in national swimming meets. swam 123 and 4th for heat for 100 fly, swam 321 and 4th for heat in 200 fly. i love the numbers woot.

oh and at least i didn't get dq-ed. i think many ppl did. the afterburners probably did okay for their events during the meet. nothing fantastic, but decent.

thursday was a fricking long day and there's nothing to report except that i got back my chem. which is something pretty forgettable. i just want to say that i don't deserve this but then probably no one in the whole bloody college got what they deserved. except certain arseholes but that's not the point.

sigh and the thought of making a comeback. even as after i did the paper i was expecting LOW but not THAT LOW. with this sort of results i can't even raise my head to go home to tell my parents. and it doesn't help they are super critical of me.

keep saying i'm not studying hard enough and shit well look i've got whose genes?

oh and i'll have you know that's the reason i'm blogging now. i could have been out at post invest party but i got angsted and owned and asked to finish at least some of my work before i left. yup so in another window i'm trying (lamely) to write my own testimonial and file some stuff.

but i'm really in no mood to do anything. except rot and think about shit and how i was about to settle it. put simply thursday was just crappy and there's nothing good to say so fuck thursday, let's move on.

friday fire drill -.-" WASTE OF TIME. civics was cancelled woot for once and the moment school was over mark paul lossy (yea its always the few of us) chiong-ed prata house for lunch. it's been ages since we've been there. i like.

and despite knowing that i'd probably be playing IHC soccer later (lol long story), i was stuffing myself silly with curry and apparently mark said my lips were swollen or something. well then i assume that means if the ball hits my face then i'd look totally normal so why not. or maybe it means higher surface area to block the ball.

if you haven't got it, i was playing keeper. and i will not go into details but to cut a long story short, bayley-waddle won the boys' soccer. and had a runners-up position for girls' soccer but that's cos we were missing our star striker in the later bits.

still, well done! 6 points in the bag for BW and that's 19 points clear at the top. i am starting to like my house very very very very much (previously there was one less "very") and i think this sports season is going to be exciting.

and come on HH you can do better! LOL i think the whole BW house is t3h m0zz ardent fans of HH because of obvious reasons hahaha. though wth after all that cheering they still finished 4th. wasted. but it's okay we'd still be rooting for them all the way.
