tonight was the birthday celebrations for my grandpa hitting 80! yay!
which means despite five tests next week i don't get quality mugging time! yay to that too!
i brought a set of econs notes out, probably to prove to my parents that i was serious about trying to pass econs test. (i told them to expect failure and promptly got blasted lol.) then as you can guess i didn't really read it so i put it to one side. then my little cousin walked over and picked it up.
those in ""s are his quotes.
"can i read it?"
- sure. (he proceeds to read.)
"what is this nonsense?!" (lovely boy)
- i don't exactly know either..
"are you going to get tested on this nonsense?"
- unfortunately yes. tomorrow in fact.
he continues reading for a bit.
"this is NONSENSE. CRAP RUBBISH NONSENSE!!" (note his extensive vocab in describing "nonsense" - i have to admit that i gave him a head start in terms of blasting)
- yes i know. but i still have to study it.
"what subject is this?"
- economics.
"is all economics also nonsense?"
- well, yea.
"why do you study economics if it's nonsense?"
- uh, good question.
i <3 my little cousin. he says it in such a drama feste way as well that i might have thought i was acting in a play with him. SO CUTE. ahh. i'm not gonna bother about studying econs tonight as i like my cousin too much. irrational, but that's the way economics is.
