solace.
i cannot live without two things:
1. good music
2. good friends
(although theoretically without my parents i wouldn't be here.)
anyway i'm appreciative that at any point in my life i've had either one? or both.
today i will introduce a very solid piece of good music. i don't know whether it should be classified as music but to me ça met du baume au coeur.
west ham united's club anthem, no less.
i'm forever blowing bubbles,
pretty bubbles in the air;
they fly so high, nearly reach the sky,
then like my dreams they fade and die
fortune's always hiding,
i've looked everywhere;
i'm forever blowing bubbles,
pretty bubbles in the air
it might sound a little p*ssy for a club anthem but i like it cos it's got romanticism (?) in it and hearing it makes my hair stand the way the bayley anthem or a good jacky cheung song does.
many ask why i support west ham. i think simply because they never say die. you can argue that most if not all clubs probably don't either, but i tend to disagree with that. for instance, pompey. one look and you know they're not interested in the game. (they lost again, those useless dipshits. i had my money on a draw.)
the hammers can be 2-0 or 3-0 down but they'll carry on attacking like no one's business. they play attractive football for a not-so-good side (i got to admit). and when you play attractive football you will lose with no regrets, or not lose at all.
i watched the last goal of west ham's 3-0 demolition of hull last night. it was simply class from a player whom i always thought had no class. (julien faubert lol)
and i am very very proud of my hammers. i will do my best in learning from them.

p.s. this cny week was MAD. long pants almost everyday, max 5 hours sleep a night and a schedule crammed fuller than my signals field pack. it's time to get back to my heartland self in a normal life starting with a three-week imposed ban on late nights lol. and it's time to wake up from a dream i've been having too long.
