swift and..

no, i cannot do this.

armour might be the force, the family, the future - but certainly not my force, not my family, not my future. their culture is so different from signals i really feel slighted by these guys. and sungei gedong is really insanely far away. (earth plates not shifting so it's still as far as ever)

on the outside i might be clad in metal plates, but within me it's all telepathy. my home is in stagmont, why did they have to brutally take me away? this is so unfair. i know i'm whining and bitching but.. but..

guess i can never really leave stagmont.

this week was too much to be blogged in words. i wouldn't know where to start, and another thing is that i'm probably not allowed to blog about some stuff anyway. so i'm not about to get started. even going through the week in my head is tough, because really SO MUCH happened.

being an officer, as expected, wasn't as easy as most would expect. even myself. i know this sounds silly when you read the whole sentence again but it's true. SO MEAN.. YET SO TRUE.

i must however admit that joining the armour formation guarantees something. my lack of discipline isn't going to surface anytime soon, or at least not for the first 4 months. i thought i'd want to do running by myself at night, but these resolutions usually lead to kaput. my current training ensures that i have no choice but to TRAIN LIKE DOG, SHAG LIKE DOG.

but hell, training was easy today. any training that is over is easy. or as a certain person who wears stars on his uniform likes to say, "the only easy day was yesterday", quoting from the elite navy seals.

well, am i not a "navy seal"? lol.

gotta have to appreciate running when i'm young, when i still can overtake people like no one's business. it's kind of mean but i feel satisfaction running circles around people in stadiums. and i feel sian when i think of next time as i grow old i'd be watching young punks doing the same to me.

........then now i have this urge to shout "LIFE'S A BITCH."

luckily it's up to me how i want to live my life. makes it less of a bitch than it would normally be if the army totally controlled me. i am constantly reminded despite all this crap i leave in 10 months for temporary betterment. before i go back to the grind and mug my arse off.

how do you decide what is worse? to be given a responsibility you have no choice but to fulfil but there's no real pressure at the end of the day, or to be given something you have to apply pressure on yourself to fulfil at the end of the day.

and i kinda realised the last paragraph sucked. i hope the meaning's clear. put simply i don't fking know whether army or uni would be tougher. though at the end of the day both probably sucks lol. just that army makes me appreciate uni life. can't say that JC made me appreciate army life.

anyway guess what. today is the 9th of january.

CONGRATS TO ALL SECOND YEAR SOLDIERS!!
"We Always Remember"

we've come such a long way and watching new recruits (mono intake) going in today made me feel nostalgic. and really really bad for them. although the cookhouse served really good food because of their enlistment, i wouldn't like to think of their reaction when they find out how it's really like after that.

i'm not fussy about food but most of the recruits usually hate army food. so good luck to them.

thankfully those days are now water under the bridge and all leopards ninjas and onions can officially celebrate going into the second year of service. oh i mean, the second part of our service. can't really call it a year when it's ten months.

haha 8th november might be right on the other side of 2009, but it doesn't seem so far anymore. ORD here i come!

gotta enjoy the rest of my weekend before i get flooded with work. or before i get raped (literally.. if you get what i mean). i swear i'll train up and protect myself to the best of my ability. NO FEARRRR.

navy seals ftw!
