two el tee.

i still have commissioning music playing in my head and it's kind of annoying. but the one-in-a-lifetime parade was brilliant.

some people would say we screwed up. fact is we really did, and it wasn't minor. but it doesn't matter now because it's OUR parade (so we do what we like with it) and it's over. yea it's overrr.. and maybe it's too much, too little, too late.

anyway after the parade was photo spam. it was also funny because two pro term pantaks, evidently skilled in the profession of ripping off commissioned officers, kinda outflanked me and saluted. (at first i was like huh they saluting an officer behind me? till i realised i was the officer.)

so well i couldn't refuse army protocol and since i prepared many red packets it was my pleasure to provide some scant consolation for the shit they're going to receive for another 13 weeks yet.

another point of entertainment and power abuse was after a rather uneventful dinner. (i had CPT Goh as table host but other than that nothing much.) i was dragging my duffel bag out and some 2LT told me to stop dragging my boots.

i misheard so i was like huh don't drag my bag? was about to apologise with a typical cadet "sorry sir" when i realised hey RETARD you're same rank as me. turned out he wanted me to stop dragging my boots -.-" well i'd like to see him try with a duffel bag. but i was too happy to bother about that little punk. (or am i the punk?)

it's not easy suddenly going through such a great change in status. suddenly all the tekan officers are friends and cadets turn so respectful WTH? they were right, it's hard to get used to. i guess i might still salute upon seeing a 2LT and maybe i'd still call a warrant "sir".

man. the 38 weeks. and it's all over within a few hours. underwhelming, mayhaps. the culmination of all that hard week over in just one night, i find that highly unfair. lol call it power hungry or whatever, but a little ego boost would be nice. even for one night.

still i have one week all laid out in front of me, and i figured i'll take this time to do some tidying up of stuff. the damned computer is kinda quirky still. and i'm not used to firefox. still got the damn piano to learn. still got the damn army stuff to pack. still dunno what else i've left out.

peace and quiet is the order of the week. and as of today i'm pleased to say i've finally finished officer cadet training. did made a hash out of it even right to the last day, but sigh it's all over. funny how sometimes you can miss shit - but i just do.

well one more year to adapt to the power transition and dealing with more nonsense. i guess i'd be used to it soon. and i kinda forgot what else i wanted to say - so that will be all for tonight. ahhh 2LT 2LT 2LT!!

(oh btw was amazed to see so many 27ths and friends out there. it's always nice to know people are watching you commission. happy time.)

navy seals ftw!~
