dreamlands.

haha today is a specially happy day! i find myself on cloud nine more than i should (actually no) and it's superb to be in such a great mood.

reading had already beaten derby the day before. which means it's a tidy sum of $6 back in my pocket. baskit first time won in premiership which about tells you how screwed up life has been. but that said, i'm going to take a break for a while again. it's all good!

still, i found a funny jumpy little ditty on youtube. it's entitled "i'm the very model of a modern homosexual" LOL. classic old funny music but damn good lyrics. it's a parody of the major-general's song - i'm the very model of a modern major-general.

okay i'm just talking greek. here's the vid:

talk about the ligands, s, p, d, f orbital
i am the very model of an RJC mugger

a bit hard to hear but if you go to the webbie you'll see the lyrics. it's fricking amusing and it made my night. lots of other things have made my day.

chemistry lect was okay though i didn't think i learnt a lot (shit). need answer key. then econs was amusing because the seals minus chew (who i think was still sleeping) were happily LT-hopping trying to get a good lecturer. in the end we stuck to CHAMPIONS' LEAGUE.

which is LT2 for all A and B graders. rofl!!

then i think we were too busy partying to listen to the lecture. some irritating little runt kept asking irrelevant questions. or at least it sounded irrelevant to me BECAUSE HE SHOULD BE TAKING H4 ECONS. everyone was like ??? and "stop wasting my damn time".

well and when the lecturer was about to finish she started a bit on the "terrible things that you should not write even if you're desperate". oops i don't know how some people found out but HAHA the second script she was talking about.. SOUNDED LIKE MINE.

(though she's very bad at quoting i must say.)

in any case - in terms of productivity i'd say it was terrible. the lectures were time-sapping. then came break and i was happy once again with my yong tau foo because i had not eaten it for a very long time and it was gerddd to eat warm stuff on a cold day.

and i think i forgot to mention a very funny intervention which made me very amused. HAHAHA. good stuff!

gp mock was next. i think i was mocking the paper when i unceremoniously finished the essay within an hour so i went to pay goon and mq a visit in the raffles rooms. chilled till about 1 plus then i went back to submit my essay.

my teacher was quite stunned i think. now what exactly could i be doing so long in the "toilet"? HMMM. i wonder too.

compre was kinda gay tough. i was glad i went for the gp mock because i couldn't see myself doing anything else. at least this was decent practise and i finished in good time so i'm proud of myself :) like it was any big deal haha.

slacked a bit before going to swim. jokes hardly swam 12 laps when anthony came back and GG we had to get ourselves out of the big pool. but as the seals came later we decided to rebel and went into the small pool! exciting stuff. then we slacked as if it was already the end of the A levels. the weather was fantastic.

we took initiative to take our seats in the pool by shifting the plastic chairs. quite funny. then started talking cawk about all the things we'd do. a few ideas we came up with was like:

1) laminate all if not most of our notes.
2) go to a public pool or jacuzzi to read them. LOL

OR

repeat step 1 using chemistry functional groups - like "alkanes", "alkenes", "alcohols" on pieces of paper. then print pieces of paper with arrows stating the reagents and conditions. after which we can compile all together..

AND THROW THEM IN THE POOL FOR MIX AND MATCH!

then we slowly form our FGI in the water! woots! (provided not too many pieces of paper start floating away. then it's like wth too bad)

shit it was surely exciting to be forming FGIs in the water. i mean, can you imagine how cool is it should i plot one great FG inter-conversion chart all over the place and i take a photo of it from the sky? absolutely smashing.

tea was being S-class mean today. he told us a few tales that were kinda amusing but sadistic. still, that is NOT another story for NO other day. because it's MEANNNN. now ain't that MEAN.

dammit chew you don't know what you're missing. then somehow those fricking irritating security guards had to chase us off because apparently the vice-principal complained that we were putting plastic chairs in the water. (*cue laughing arse off*)

suddenly another two security guards appeared from nowhere and told us that we weren't supposed to use the pool. well WHATEVER. hahaha those retards were frankly pissing us off because i don't think they had a right depriving students of their leisure. nevertheless our hands were getting wrinkled so about time anyway.

but rj security guards YOU SUCK. you won't be getting any christmas cards from me this year, you mean faggggggs. i appreciate you telling me politely not to use the pool but frankly i don't see how we slacking around is so hurting.

granted you're doing your jobs. but still you're not getting any cards. hahaha now sit and hope they cry.

okay so that was a highly eventful soak in the pool. later we went back to our "hotel room" all rejuvenated and ready to study. actually, i'm not too sure about the "ready to study" bit. p man kuan suddenly decided to be mean and turned our room into a freezing hell. fricking 16 degrees celsius and fans at full blast.

WHAT THE HECK. MEAN!

still it was really a comfy feeling going back in there - for it really felt that we were overseas and retiring into a nice little hotel room. not exactly your ideal mugging atmosphere - but we were really contented and uh, shiok.

add a piping hot (or semi-hot) curry puff from stall 2 and some steamy hot drinks - it was the perfect situation and no one could ask for more. unless you're a greedy avaricious punk.

so we ploughed away for close to three hours before leaving in the drizzle. zomg it was really romantic and the walk home on the wet path was very uh.. therapeutic. is that what you like to call it?

watching the wet grass glisten and listening to emo songs (actually not really - popular mechanics rofl) on my mp3, i thought i was going to act sentimental and just stone at the traffic junction. and stare into empty space like an emo kid.

in fact, it was seriously the perfect night to do that. it was so surreal that the whole scene looked like it could have been taken out from an MV. and i would have acted like i was in it.. only because 1) i'm not some deranged emo kid and..

2) I DON'T HAVE ALL THE TIME IN THE WORLD. NEEDA GO HOME TO BLOG!

and mug, of course.

apparently two jokers had the same thoughts as me ie they thought it was a romantic night. so as i walked past the blocks at toa payoh north i saw a young couple making out very fiercely at the bottom of a staircase landing.

now will you please excuse me but what the fuck, say what happens if i need to climb the stairs? you'd have to tear yourselves apart from each other and let me cross, i say. jokes.

but i didn't live in that block! so i let them in peace and at the very next block i saw an old couple up to their hanky-panky. JOKES. at least they had better sense making out on some benches.

those were the interesting observations around you on a typical monday rainy night in the northern part of toa payoh.

that was history. i had a great dinner, and had a great shower.

and to end off a very (great?) and lengthy post..

STUDY HARD.

i seem to be highly distracted today, drifting off into dreamland for no good reason. and as we move one day closer to the A levels, i think i'd better be pulling up my socks hahaha.

STUDY HARD!

navy seals ftw!~
