nothing to brag about.

OKAY.

i got back a few prelim results today and they're surely nothing to shout about, by ordinary standards. but to me i'm celebrating a comeback. after three below the mark for ct2s i felt it was only right to make amends. and hopefully have EVERYTHING D and above this round.

so far it's been superb. and it will continue this way tomorrow.

if my chemistry appeal is successful, of which it should.. then that would be the second B this round. surprisingly i got a C for maths. what the hell i thought i was dead meat.

but chemistry was a major pleasing factor because i've worked my arse off for it. more than any other subject. i knew that it was one of my better subs when i completed the papers. and last year i got the exact same score (58.5) after relinquishing one mark due to a marking error.

and as if i haven't been paid my dues, i had 58.5 this round with a marking error that would correct me upwards. i dropped from a B to a C last year because of 1 stupid mark. and as you know they say what goes around comes around.

i don't even need 1 mark now, just 0.6 mark will do. chem dept please be kind to me.

the prelim results are inspiring me to work harder. going to do chem paper 3 question 3 now. rawrrr happy happy! i don't give a shit if you think these aren't good grades. maybe not by your standards, but for so many months of hurt i think this is the initial stage of reaping the rewards.

i've no intention of letting up now. the machine is back.

back to hopefully churning As. like in the PSLE days.

OH BTW BEFORE I FORGET. CONGRATULATIONS TO LEW JIE LIANG 07S07A TOP 20 IMPROVEMENT HAHAHA. WITH A CLOSE TO 300% IMPROVEMENT IN HIS MARKS YOU'D BETTER NOT FRICKING MESS WITH HIM. JIAYOU!

though dangit. i must say i've had my eye on that award for pretty long. despite an improvement of around 24 marks this round i guess it wasn't enough. shit if only. i would have shouted "NICE ONE YJ" the moment the list popped out.

sigh. that was my last chance. now it's gone.

it wouldn't matter, however, if i still get my A for the big exam!
