first post!

first post of the second decade.

anyway i wanna sleep so i'll make this snappy. whatever happened over new year, i'll blog another day. what's important this year is that i didn't make any resolutions!!

if i wanted to be a better person, i could have done it ANY DAY. don't need to wait for the new year. isn't that quite logical??

i did, however, drew a crest for myself; inclusive of a spanking new motto. its à la mission vision values style, so that any organisational excellence workshop mentors i've ever had would be proud of what i've done.

but guess what! i'm too lazy to upload my crest! (and the drawing is quite shitty anyway hahaha.)

so i'm just here to publicise my motto. of course since french is the only real foreign language i am fluent in, it had to be in french. and i put adjectives instead of nouns because they are generally shorter and would fit into the crest.

EFFICACE. FIABLE. GENTIL.
efficient, reliable and kind.

efficient is what i want to be on a personal level. greater efficiency in doing the things i want to do and less procrastination, which as you can see from the earlier part of this post, i have failed.

reliable is what i want to be on a familial (?) and peer-to-peer level. i shall execute my duties faithfully as a responsible first sergeant (my sister's the second) reporting to my immediate superior, the RSM aka "Really Strict Mama".

kind is what i want to be on a societal level. i shall donate more to buskers who sing good hokkien songs. or actually they can sing any song for all i care because i'll donate anyway when i'm in a good mood. hope i'm in good moods more often then.

that said, WHOA~~ check out how i planned out my personal goals for this year! i must say that i'm becoming more professional in this corporate goal-setting, mission, vision, values and stuff.

hahaha oh well. enough of these personal things. gotta rush off to sleep because as an efficient and reliable individual who's kind to my boss, i gotta report to work on time tomorrow.
