bronze medallists.

armour road relay was finally concluded today, a culmination of all the insane trainings conducted by The General. but insane being insane, i'll give credit when it's due. HQ ARMOUR finished third and i've another medal to add to a less-than-sterling collection.

even though bronze isn't exactly the stuff of champions, it was a display of our effort. every single morning i drag myself out of bed and wondering what on earth is a signal officer doing in this armour race? plus they never treated us as equals. but today everyone was nice and encouraging so that soothed my nerves a little, though for most of the early morning i was one hell of a wreck.

now the next question is, if i can run 1.3km in 4:12 - why not 2.4km within 9? it still eludes me and it is as sure as hell irritating. but the quest will not stop here.

THE ONLY EASY DAY WAS YESTERDAY!!

side note: there are many other unhappy things that occurred in this week, but i will conveniently ignore them the way some people like to ignore blatant flaws in their ideas/systems. will leave this post short and sweet - the way The General likes it.
